Individual Therapy
We provide talk-based therapy for adolescents and adults in 50-minute one-on-one sessions.
Using evidence-based assessments and interventions, we help you understand how your brain functions, gain insight into your emotional and behavioural responses, and incorporate practical tools and techniques into your daily life.
We are able to assist with general mental health concerns including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disturbances, neurodivergence, grief and loss, addiction and personality disorders.
Support is offered for perfectionism, low self-esteem, life transitions, stress, relationship difficulties, life decisions and career direction.
$265 for 1 hour session (50 minutes consultation and 10 minutes clinical administrative time)
Medicare Rebate $98.95
Out of Pocket Cost $166.05
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy is a main area of practice using evidence-based approaches.
We provide couples with support for relationship challenges, persistent disagreements, life transitions, and a loss of connection or fulfilment.
The typical structure includes a joint initial intake session, two individual sessions, then a joint feedback session, before intervention sessions that provide techniques for couples to take away and implement between sessions.
Our goal is to help couples develop healthier ways of relating by reshaping unhelpful narratives, improving communication patterns, and rebuilding a sense of connection.
$365 for 1.5 hour session (80 minutes consultation and 10 minutes clinical administrative time)
Couples therapy is not eligible for Medicare Rebate.
Telehealth
We offer telehealth sessions, allowing you to access therapy no matter where you are - or simply if you prefer not to attend in-person.
You might choose telehealth for convenience, personal preference, illness, or if you are located remotely outside of Brisbane. Sessions are conducted online via secure video or phone conferencing, using our easy-to-use, confidential platform that requires no prior setup. All appointments are scheduled according to Australian Eastern Standard Time.
Research shows that telehealth therapy is just as effective as fact-to-face sessions, providing the same quality of care from the comfort of your own space.
Fees are equivalent to in-person sessions.
Adult ADHD Assessment
-
We understand how challenging it can be to navigate ADHD, so we strive to provide a thorough, compassionate, and accurate assessment to help you better understand ADHD and the extent that it may be contributing to the challenges that you may be facing.
Our Adult ADHD Assessment is comprehensive and tailored to your individual needs. An Adult ADHD Assessment helps to:
Provide clarity on the extent that ADHD may be impacting your life.
Offer insights into your strengths, challenges, and potential strategies for improvement.
Deliver a detailed report that can be used for educational accommodations, workplace adjustments, medico-legal purposes (acceptance of referrals for such purposes is on a case by case basis, depending on specific requirements), National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), or other support services.
Provide a report to support an ADHD diagnosis and diagnostic clarity for healthcare providers.
If you are unsure whether an Adult ADHD Assessment is necessary, or if you are seeking support for managing symptoms without pursuing a formal diagnosis, we can offer individual therapy. Individual therapy offers and effective and holistic approach to:
addressing focus, time management, and organisational challenge;
developing coping strategies for anxiety, stress, and other related concerns; and/or
supporting emotional wellbeing and self-esteem.
Our approach is to equip you with the tools and skills to improve your quality of life.

Please schedule in a call here with a psychologist to discuss your requirements and to book. We will help to explain the assessment process, costs, and timeframes.
Please feel free to email admin@psychelogue.com.
-
Once booked, you will receive a welcome email with links to complete pre-assessment forms.
This information will be used to guide your ADHD assessment and/or ADHD-specific intervention.
-
In line with best practice guidelines, the Adult ADHD Assessment commences with an intake interview during your initial session. In this session, your psychologist will explore your concerns, abilities, strengths, difficulties, challenges, and developmental history.
Please feel free to bring any supporting documentation, including but not limited to, health records, educational assessments (i.e. report cards), personal histories.
This part of the assessment process may take two (2) sessions.
-
After the intake interview, the testing phase involves the completion of various online questionnaires and other assessments. The specific number and type of assessments will be tailored to address your individual requirements, guided by the insights gained from the intake interview.
-
Your psychologist will then spend a few hours to review the results from the testing phase, along with information gathered from sessions, to formulate a written report, offer recommendations, and organise a feedback session to go through the results and report with you.
-
A feedback session is typically arranged approximately four (4) weeks following the completion of your Adult ADHD Assessment. During the session, your psychologist will provide you with both a written report and a verbal explanation of the assessment findings.
Our primary focus is on delivering thorough reports and feedback in plain English to ensure an adequate understanding of the implications of the results. The report provides recommendations and practical suggestions with the aim to improve quality of life.

We recognise that medication can be an important part of ADHD treatment. Please note that psychologists do not prescribe or management medication. We can complete a report to support ADHD diagnosis but this report may not be accepted by a medical practitioner or specialist (i.e. psychiatrist) for the purposes of prescribing medication. Medical practitioners and specialists (i.e. psychiatrists) may require their own Adult ADHD Assessment. For this reason, it may be important to consult with relevant medical practitioners and specialists (i.e. psychiatrists) for medical management, as they can provide a more comprehensive evaluation for the purposes of prescribing medication. We are happy to work alongside your healthcare team to share any relevant findings, subject to your consent.
